Heinz Robertz (Vox, Guitar):
The front man was born '51 and he is originated
in the Aachen area. It was 1968 when he played on stage for the first time
with a rock band (so called "beat band" at that time). In the following
years he quit the mainstream and turned to blues. In favour of his
occupational development he kept abstinence from public performances for
as long as 20 years. It was not before 1995 that he began once more and
built up Tres Hombres consequently. Heinz loves the original R&B of the
Stones, Jimmy Hendrix and he is
especially a fan of Peter Green,
the ex Mayall guitar player and frontmann of Fleetwood Mac.
Hartmut Hermann (Bass):
The native of Munich was born
'51. At the age of 14 he founded his first band namely in his tribe of boy scouts.
Later he worked in different formations of the Schwabing scene, among others with
the well known guitar player Nick Woodland
(Marius M.-W., Donna Summer). Besides he played the tuba at fun fairs in a bavarian
brass band His favourite music are Pat Metheny's
Jazz and songs of the original Stones. His idol
as a bass player is Jaco Pastorius. Since 2006
he lives in Aachen and since 2008 he is playing with the Hombres.
Heinz Bronckhorst (Drums, Vox):
The master of the drums and cymbals was born in ‘49. At the
age of 17 he was sitting behind a drum set for the first time in his life in
Mönchen-gladbach. He entered the real music world, however, as a roadie. For
more than a decade he accompanied internationally known musicians of jazz and rock
business all around the world, to Australia, Japan and America. When he had settled
in Aachen he drummed and sang in different Blues and Rock formations from 1994 on.
His favourite music is Blues as well as
Heavy Metal. His drummer idol is
AC/DC's Phill Rudd. Since 2006 he is stirring
his sticks with the hombres.
